I still have my even feed foot on my machine, so I can get bindings on more easily. I just need to trim the quilts and find the binding and sew it down. Sounds easy doesn't it? Then why have I not done this? Dunno! Also, I am almost finished with panel #1 on my SQ project. But I have a problem. I do not have page 6, the one with the directions for embroidery on the quilts. So I will just match my colors the best I can.Purple Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09614300010193583324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-818198785939526488.post-4503303415064149542016-05-24T09:34:06.069-07:002016-05-24T09:34:06.069-07:00Hi Katy,

Please, please get out your machines Users manual, some Muslin fabric, some tear away stabilizer and just learn to hoop, and do some of the machines built in designs---following the instructions in in the book. This is the first thing I did when I got my first embroidery-sewing machine. Way back when.
For Redwork type machine embroidery there are some newer stabilizers that don't pull on the stitches when you remove the stabilizer from the back of the embroidery.
One brand is by Floriani. Called Stitch n Wash. Also, Baby Lock has something similar. Maybe you have a local source. Or I'm sure you can find them on the internet. Have fun, and enjoy your machine. Don't let it intimidate you!Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03160457872569395644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-818198785939526488.post-35606621832028958902016-05-23T10:17:09.604-07:002016-05-23T10:17:09.604-07:00Beautiful work! I have a lovely embroidery machine that has hardly seen the light of day, I think I'm intimidated by it. Anyway, do you have an suggestions as far as stabilizer for redwork machine embroidered blocks? Thanks so much for your help!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
