Corvette Quilt- At the Finish Line!

I started this quilt in October. I found the Corvette panel at a quilt show once upon a time (that means long ago)--- and the backing fabric on eBay just recently.

It's been a fun quilt!

It was a bit difficult to decide on a quilting motif as it's more of masculine looking quilt, so "feathers" were out, unless it was for female Corvette owner! I finally decided on some racy looking swirls and flame points.

  1. LOVE the swirls and flames quilting design. Absolutely a *perfect* compliment to the pieced layout.

Love the graphic nature of your design ... all in all, a great quilt!

    Well done!

  2. Hey!! I had three corvetts. I really like the quilting, I think it fits it perfectly... the pattern you choose for this quilt too!
I need to get busy and piece my top.

  4. Angie, that is a great quilt. I like your choice of the quilting motif. I do have a friend who is a Corvette buff and she would LOVE that quilt! She drives a Corvette, but when she comes to pick me up for anything, she brings the truck because I cannot get out of the Corvette very easily! Too bottom heavy I guess! LOL!
