I do love machine embroidery! ---and especially these day of the week dishtowels. Although it might be difficult to actually use some of these to dry dishes!
This cute design set is from Sew Weirds Machine Embroidery. She has "sew" many other wonderful vintage machine embroidery designs for towels and quilts.
Be sure to check out her site.
I plan to embroidery a set every week! I have many cute day of the week designs I've collected over the years---and the dishtowel blanks. Time to get busy! :o)

What threads do you use, Angie?
Hi Jan, I used Robison-Anton rayon on the mini cones. You can get it locally at Village Sewing. Many machine embroiderers shun rayon because they think it will fade out over time. I've never had a problem with it. Even with quilt blocks. I don't use detergents with bleach or hot water, so that may have something to do with it. ~Angie
Thank you for putting me in contact with another web site for machine embroidery, Angie. The kittens are adorable. I like the way you changed their colors, so they are unique. I also machine embroidery as well as quilt, so stay busy all the time. Thanks for the nice blog.
I remember towels my grandmother did that were like this. Of course, hers were by hand. Haven't we come a long way?
Love your darling towels. We have some that my husband's grandmother made. I love using them and remembering her when I have a towel in hand.
Thanks for introducing me to these machine embroidered towels! I'm tirelessly searching for the patterns my grandmother had on her own dishtowels. No luck yet but these come quite close!
Also, Sonoma is a beautiful area! How luck you are to live there.
