Quick Post

This was on the long arm yesterday. A Quilt of Valor top that Carla my "topper" partner sent me last month. I'm just now getting it quilted. Binding goes on today. It's so nicely pieced.

What a pleasure it's been to quilt! Flat seams so appreciated!

I used the Circle Lord Baptist Fan boards and Maxilock Swirls thread in the variegated red, white and blue. Perfect for this quilt! I'm going to have fun making the label on the embroidery machine later today! I'm still working on getting my design wall cleared off so that I can actually see the wall. :o)I have the borders finished on one of the Jelly Roll quilts, so that is progress. Have a good day whatever you are doing! I hope it's sewing or quilting!

It's our third day of rain again here in sunny Sonoma County! Just when you think Summer has arrived---It has Not!

It certainly is good quilting weather, isn't it? The fans look great!

Lovely Quilt. They are starting a QOV group here in the White Mountains of Arizona. We are supposed to get rain with a possibility of snow above 7000 feet just up the road from me. igf it keeps this up, we will have snow on Memorial Day weekend liek we did 3 yrs ago.

I haven't tried the Maxi Lock thread either but the colors they've come out with are yummy. What did you use in the bobbin? Getting ready to try Omni, see how that works. Your quilting is beautiful!! Amie :o)
