Our grandson, Christopher, came this week and cleaned and re-stained the front deck. He does such good work. He fixed the surround a sound to play on the Roku and re-stretched the carpet. He blew the debris off the roof and gutter, and we also got to spend some good times together just talking and catching up with what is going on in his life----
I've been sprucing up a few of the summer annuals and putting things back in place.
The Mandevilla vine by the front door is growing nicely this summer.

Angie - I love your mandevilla vine ... never had good luck with that plant. What a nice grandson you have and I LOVE that string quilt!
Love the colors in the quilt. I keep wanting to make a string quilt but other things get in the way.

Love your strong quilt. I have about 20 blocks made for a string quilt. I thought I should have some more so it would be bigger. Maybe I should just sew these together and get it done?
Your yard looks so nice. It is great to have such a wonderful grandson who helps out. Lucky you. Our grandson is only 9 months old. He has a lot of growing to do before he can get on the room!
